Job description
· Operate and monitor process plant equipment including separators, compressors, pumps, utilities, and associated systems.
- Monitor and control plant operations through DCS/SCADA systems.
- Perform routine field inspections and report process or equipment abnormalities.
- Execute plant start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW), isolation, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations teams during routine and shutdown activities.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, operational records, and handover reports. Respond effectively to process upsets and emergency situations.
Requirements
- Diploma in Process Operations, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in oil & gas production operations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Operator in offshore or onshore hydrocarbon processing facilities.
- Experience operating process plants, separators, gas compression systems, utilities, water injection, and export facilities.
- Strong knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems and process monitoring.
- Familiarity with PTW, isolation procedures, emergency response, and HSE requirements.
- Valid OPITO BOSIET/HUET and H2S certifications preferred for offshore assignments.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
