Job description
The Dougherty County Solid Waste Department is hiring on a continuous basis for a Laborer. The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently perform skilled and unskilled work such as carpentry, masonry, construction, and custodial. May be responsible for mixing cement, laying bricks, operating power saws, maintaining grounds, assisting with road construction, or performing custodial and housekeeping assignments. Work may vary dependent upon assigned department. This class works under general supervision, independently developing work methods and sequences.
