Behavior Management Instructional Assistant

Job Summary

This position is intended to provide behavioral support and instructional assistance to autistic students, students with emotional disturbance, and other students with behavioral disorders.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must also meet one of the following criteria: -completed at least two years of study (48 units) at an institution of higher education; or -obtained an associate’s (or higher) degree Copy of Transcript Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) Letters) NCLB Compliance (Copy of degree or college transcripts demonstrating completion of AA degree or higher and/or 48 college units; or Instructional Aide Certificate) Proof of HS Graduation Resume Comments and Other Information 180-day work year (prorated for 2026-2027) Longevity stipend after 10 years of service Subject to annual re-funding Salary Placement: All newly hired employees will be placed at Step 1 of the applicable salary range in accordance with the current CSEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
