Senior Investment Banker – Debt Advisory

UBS is seeking an experienced professional to join our Global Banking team in Sydney within Debt Advisory. In this role, you will provide strategic advice on capital structure and financing, utilising global bank and capital markets to achieve efficient and sustainable outcomes for clients.

You will play a key role in driving advisory-led opportunities and delivering high-quality execution across mandates.

Your responsibilities

• Originate and lead execution of complex debt advisory mandates, including refinancing, acquisition financing and capital structure optimisation
• Structure and negotiate tailored financing solutions, managing engagement with lenders and investors to achieve optimal terms and market outcomes
• Drive business development and pipeline generation, leveraging relationships to originate new advisory opportunities across public and private market clients
• Lead end-to-end transaction processes, coordinating internal product partners and external stakeholders
• Oversee deal execution and team delivery, ensuring high-quality analytical output, client materials and mentoring of junior bankers
