Tax Partner – UK & International Advisory | Harrow on the Hill Salary: Up to £120,000 + Private Healthcare + Bonus + Equity Potential We are supporting a highly respected accountancy practice in Harrow on the Hill in their search for a commercially minded Tax Partner to lead their UK and international tax division. This senior leadership opportunity offers equity potential, strategic influence, and the chance to shape a growing tax function.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Client Relationship Management Lead on advisory and structuring matters for a portfolio of UK and international private clients, HNWIs, and business owners. Provide specialist guidance on residence and domicile, inheritance tax, CGT, property tax, offshore trusts, and HMRC enquiries. Deliver pre-arrival tax planning and remittance strategies, including clean capital advice.

Maintain and grow long-term client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, value-driven service. Team Leadership & Development Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax team, supporting technical development and day-to-day performance. Deliver in-house training and drive a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Promote cross-departmental collaboration and knowledge sharing. Business Development & Firm Representation Identify opportunities to expand the firm’s tax client base both in the UK and internationally. Represent the practice at trade missions, conferences, seminars, and private client events. Lead thought leadership efforts via articles, webinars, and public speaking engagements.

Compliance & Oversight Oversee the delivery of personal and corporate tax compliance, including returns, P11Ds, and ATED filings. Monitor department budgets, reporting deadlines, and client deliverables. Ensure all activity remains compliant with current tax legislation and best practice. Technology & Tools Use CCH, Sage, QuickBooks, VT Transaction, and Xero to manage client work and streamline internal processes.

Candidate Profile: CTA qualified (or equivalent), with 8+ years of relevant tax experience. Strong technical expertise across both UK and international tax, ideally with exposure to private client and advisory work. Demonstrated leadership capability and a commitment to developing people. Strong commercial instincts and a successful track record of business development.

Confident communicator with a collaborative, professional approach. Willing to travel internationally for client meetings and events.
