Compliance Specialist

The Compliance Specialist maintains current knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations affecting the Credit Union’s lending and deposit operations. The position supports Management in maintaining regulatory compliance and mitigating compliance risk. The Compliance Specialist provides guidance and support to staff regarding consumer compliance requirements, security, risk management, and other applicable regulatory matters; recommends policy and procedural changes to strengthen the Credit Union’s compliance program; and communicates relevant compliance information and regulatory updates to appropriate departments throughout the organization.
