Private Physician — Private Medical Continuity — Doha

A Doha family is appointing a UK & European-trained Private Physician to a confidential, live-in post. Their priority is continuity: one doctor who follows every member of the household from routine vaccinations through to adult health checks. In July and August the family lives in Kensington, and you travel with them.

When you travel with the family, all local arrangements (visa, licensing and coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers. You will also help the family choose specialists in both cities.

Requirements

UK or European registration as a family medicine physician (GP) is essential. You have practised independently for 3+ years, ideally seeing private patients. Paediatric and adult general practice experience are both needed. You speak English fluently and keep family matters strictly private. Your licence history is checked with the regulator before introduction.

Benefits

The post pays a gross £240,000 per year, with accommodation and travel included. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Accommodation within the residence in Doha and summer travel to London are provided by the family.
