Require a Marketing Sales intern in Lusaka , Zambia

Market and promote Maiden’s books, printing services and other products and services. Identify prospective customers and generate new sales leads. Conduct sales visits and follow up with schools, institutions, bookshops, organisations and other potential clients. Follow up quotations and customer enquiries with the aim of converting them into sales.

Assist with preparing quotations, sales correspondence and maintaining customer records. Support the company’s Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital marketing activities. Assist with exhibitions, promotions and other marketing activities. Handle general office administration, filing, correspondence and record keeping. Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and WhatsApp.

Provide other marketing, sales and administrative support as required.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Public Relations or a related field. Previous exposure to marketing or sales will be an added advantage. Must be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet applications. Good written and verbal communication skills. Confident, presentable and comfortable approaching and engaging potential customers.

Good organisational and administrative skills. Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Willing and able to undertake field marketing and customer visits. Knowledge of social media marketing will be an added advantage.
