• Location 5007 N. Shepherd Dr. Houston, TX 77018. Esther’s Cajun Cafe & Soul food is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team! The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while ensuring dishes, cookware, and utensils are properly cleaned and ready for use.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. Ensure all dishes and cookware are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, appliances, and dishwashing areas. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and promptly clean spills to maintain a safe work environment. Take out trash, clean garbage cans, and maintain proper waste disposal procedures.

Keep the kitchen, dishwashing station, and designated dining areas clean and organized. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness standards. Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks and other duties as assigned. Work efficiently with the team to keep daily restaurant operations running smoothly. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
