Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹3.5LPM to 4LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations, patient consultations, and medical history reviews. Perform routine and advanced gynecological procedures including Pap Smear, Colposcopy, and pelvic floor repair.
Carry out surgical interventions such as Normal Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Laparoscopy, Hysteroscopy, D&C, LEEP, Myomectomy, Hysterectomy, Oophorectomy, Tubal Ligation, and Fibroid & Cyst Surgery. Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions including infertility, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic organ prolapse.
Provide expert care in infertility management, including coordination with IVF protocols and assisted reproductive technologies. Utilize Sonography for diagnostic evaluation of reproductive organs and fetal monitoring during pregnancy. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, radiologists, and reproductive endocrinologists. Participate in on-call duties and emergency obstetric care as required. Stay current with clinical guidelines, emerging technologies, and best practices in gynecology and women’s health.
Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD/DM/DNB in OBGYN). Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent). Proficiency in performing a wide range of gynecological procedures, including: Sonography D&C (Dilation and Curettage) LEEP (Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure) Hysterectomy and Myomectomy Oophorectomy and Tubal Ligation Pelvic Floor Repair Normal Vaginal Delivery and Cesarean Section Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy Fibroid & Cyst Surgery Infertility Management (including IVF coordination) Pap Smear and Colposcopy Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital protocols. Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency care.
