Maintenance Technician

POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician 1 will be responsible for building maintenance and a range of basic repairs. This includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and maintaining small tools and equipment. CORE FUNCTIONS · Complete building maintenance and repairs (restrooms, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, and pneumatic systems).

· Troubleshoot and maintain small tools and equipment. · Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc. · Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks. · Maintain accurate records of work performed.

· Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

& REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience · High School Diploma or GED required. · 2 years of working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required. · Previous forklift experience preferred. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge · Basic computer skills, ability to add, subtract, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
