Under the limited supervision of the Chief Engineer for Operations, serves as the Assistant Chief Engineer for Operations covering seven engineering districts and emergency operations.  Also, may serve as liaison between the office of the Chief Engineer for Operations and the offices of Bridge Management, Construction, Maintenance, Preconstruction and Traffic Engineering.
