General Summary: A nonexempt position responsible for the scheduling and facilitation of pre-payment and collections of medical/legal services provided by physicians within the organization. Essential Job Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling all appointments for worker’s compensation, IME’s/record review, depositions, trials and conferences.

Responsible for negotiating fees on behalf of physicians. Responsible for completing appropriate contractual documents for securing payment for services from attorneys and insurance companies for physicians to perform medical/legal services. Indicates payment arrangements and other pertinent information in EMR system for clinical staff and front desk prior to appointment.

Documents all correspondence with patients, insurance carriers, and attorneys. Other responsibilities as assigned.
