K-5th Teacher, North Location: Jacksonville, FL 32218 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic K-5th Teacher to join our team in the northern Jacksonville area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a positive learning environment and committed to the academic and social development of elementary students.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards for grades K through 5. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback and support to help each child succeed. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education (K-5). Experience teaching elementary students preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to different learning styles. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
