Groundsman / Laborer - Fargo, ND

R. J. Corman Railroad Services is currently seeking Groundsman/Laborers to join our team in Fargo, ND.

Key Responsibilities

Perform laborer/groundsman duties to clear railroad derailments Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used Safely maintain vehicles and equipment Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions Participate in frequent travel and be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies Specialized or Technical Knowledge, Education and Experience: Previous outdoor laborer experience preferred Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test Physical Requirements: Able to perform physical strenuous work Able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs Able to walk, climb, and maintain balance on equipment, stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, rails and ballast in a safe manner Able to navigate into confined spaces if necessary Environmental Conditions: Must be able to respond to emergencies within one hour Performs duties in multiple environments including outside job sites, in and around moving vehicles and equipment.
