Skilled Baker with Decorating

We’re hiring a Cake & Dessert Baker with strong decorating skills to produce high-quality cakes and desserts with a clean, premium finish. This role is ideal for someone who is consistent, detail-oriented, and confident with both baking and hands-on decorating—especially buttercream and fondant work.

Key Responsibilities

Bake and prepare cakes, fillings, frostings, and dessert components to recipe/spec Decorate cakes with a high level of skill and consistency, including: Buttercream finishing (smooth sides, sharp edges, borders, piping) Fondant work (covering, smoothing, accents, basic sculpting as needed) Clean, professional presentation and attention to detail Produce desserts for events and orders (cupcakes, cookies, bars, minis, etc.

as needed) Follow production schedules and meet deadlines for pickups/events Maintain a clean, organized station and follow food safety/sanitation standards Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging orders for pickup/delivery Communicate with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy, timelines, and quality standards Requirements Requirements Proven experience baking and decorating cakes in a professional setting (or equivalent high-volume custom order experience) Strong decorating skills with fondant and buttercream (must be comfortable executing clean finishes) Ability to follow recipes, prep lists, and written instructions consistently Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under deadlines Team-oriented and professional in a fast-paced kitchen environment Nice to Have Wedding cake experience (stacking, doweling, transport prep) Experience with dessert tables / catering production Ability to do basic design interpretation from inspiration photos Familiarity with inventory rotation, labeling/dating, and batch production Benefits Schedule & Pay Part-time or full-time (based on availability and business needs) Pay: Hourly, based on experience (add your range if you’d like) Location Edmond, Oklahoma
