Substitute Teacher

Dickinson Public Schools is now hiring for substitute teachers. Location: District Wide Salary: $22.00 per hour / $154 per day. Additional incentives are available. Terms of Employment: Substitute teachers are on-call employees who are potentially employed for the academic school year only (9 months). This is a non-benefited position.

Requirements

Must hold a current ND Teaching License or ND Interim Substitute Teacher License. Please visit the NDESPB website for more info on obtaining licensure. Responsibilities/Expectations: Maintain classroom discipline and carry out classroom procedures as if he/she were the regular teacher. Follow lesson plans and instructions left by the classroom teacher.

Ensure the safety of students. Other duties as assigned. Applicants who are residents of ND and eligible to claim veteran's preference must upload a Form DD214. Claims for disabled veteran's preference must include a current statement of disabled status from the Veterans Affairs Office.
