• Dealership service department Infiniti of Plymouth is hiring an experienced Flat Rate Automotive Technician! Are you an experienced automotive technician looking for competitive earning potential, great benefits, and room to grow? Infiniti of Plymouth, part of Route 24 Auto Group, is looking for a skilled, motivated Flat Rate Technician to join our service team. Pay: $30–$40 per hour on average, with the potential to earn up to $50 per hour depending on experience, skill level, and productivity. Complete assigned repairs accurately, efficiently, and safely. Identify and communicate additional repair needs to service management. Follow manufacturer-recommended procedures, technical bulletins, and dealership repair standards. Use diagnostic equipment, special tools, and shop equipment properly. Complete repair orders, troubleshooting documentation, and cause-and-correction notes accurately.

Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Protect dealership tools, equipment, and customer vehicles. Participate in manufacturer training and continuing education. Assist and mentor apprentice technicians when assigned. Meet productivity and efficiency goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Follow all applicable safety procedures and federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain a professional attitude and treat customers, coworkers, and management with respect. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous automotive repair experience required. Flat rate dealership experience preferred. Infiniti or other manufacturer-specific training is a plus. ASE certifications preferred. Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and carrying automotive parts and equipment. Physical requirements This position involves standing, bending, reaching, and working with automotive tools and equipment throughout the workday. The ability to lift up to 100 pounds and frequently carry up to 50 pounds is required.
