Accounts Payable Specialist Flemington, NJ | Full Time, Hybrid, Hourly | 30 - 40 hours per week | $21.63 - $24.04 per hour We believe that great people build great communities. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can help support our finance team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the vendor invoice to general ledger posting cycle and have experience with invoice processing platforms, purchasing platforms as well as employee expense report platforms.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Supplemental insurance benefits What is needed for this job as our Accounts Payable Specialist: 2+ years of experience in accounts payable Experience working in a matrix organization or a multi-location organization Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors Experience with ERP systems (SAP Concur) and other accounting software preferred The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Accounts Payable Specialist: Assist with processing a high volume of vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payments Assist with processing employee expense reports Assist with the payment process (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and related delivery thereof Maintain vendor files ensuring proper documentation for compliance Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of all AP transactions Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies What you can expect: Support from an amazing team Opportunities to learn & grow Being a part of a non-profit organization that works to make the community stronger The opportunity to build strong community relationships while building our community YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply After reading this, if you’re thinking this is me- we want to meet you!
