Requirements

/ Qualifications Patience, helpfulness, diligence, persistence and a willingness to work with staff, students and parents from widely different cultural and linguistic backgrounds Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade All requirements must be provided when applying Letter of Introduction (Please describe your experience working in and/or out of a school setting with children ) Proof of HS Graduation Comments and Other Information The East Whittier City School District provides educational opportunities (transitional kindergarten through eighth grade, including special education) for approximately 9,000 children.

The District employs approximately 1,075 teachers, administrators and support staff. We have 13 schools which operate on a traditional school year schedule.
