Dietary Aide

Responsibilities

• Safety and Sanitation : Ensure that food preparation and sanitation practices are followed in a safe environment to maintain a clean and hygienic facility.
• Resident Services : Prepare and serve meals to residents according to their prescribed diets, ensuring that they receive the nutrition they need to recover.
• Additional Duties : Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Dietary Services, including food preparation and cleaning duties.
• Equipment Operations : Demonstrate competence in the use of food preparation equipment, such as slicers, grinders, mixers, dishwashers, garbage disposals, stoves, and coffee makers.

Requirements

• Experience : Must have previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a related field.
• Availability : Every other weekend is required, with flexible scheduling available. Working Conditions:
• Location : Our 120-bed nursing facility is located in Yonkers, New York.
• COVID-19 Vaccination : COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all employees.
