Finance Intern-Lahore (Female Candidates Only)

General Position Summary This position will be facilitating the Finance department in daily Finance related activities. Essential Job Responsibilities Scanning of all vouchers in appropriate folders (drive) Filling vouchers in appropriate files. Organize and archive the financial record in the warehouse and prepare a financial record inventory list.

Ensure completeness of documents in the respective files. Data entry in finance software. Assist in Banking activities deposits and bank documentation correspondence Conduct himself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and in no way jeopardize our humanitarian efforts. Other duties assigned by the Finance Department/Supervisor SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively learns about safeguarding and integrates it into their work, including safeguarding risks and mitigations related to their area of work
• Practices the values of Mercy Corps including respecting the dignity and well-being of participants and fellow team members
• Encourages openness and communication in their team; encourages team members to submit reports if they have any concerns using reporting mechanisms e.g., Integrity Hotline and other option. Supervisory Responsibility None. Accountability Reports Directly To: Senior Finance Officer
• Accounting Works Directly With: Sr. Finance Officer and Finance Officer Knowledge and Experience Bachelor degree in Finance or other relevant disciplines, preference will be given to those candidates who have completed a bachelors degree and looking for an internship opportunity to gain work experience. Excellent negotiation & communication skills. Ability to work comfortably with an ethnically diverse staff. Work independently and cooperatively with team member is required. Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
