• Food Service, The Food Runner’s main functions are to provide a unique and memorable dining experience through professionalism, food and beverage knowledge and attentiveness to all guests. The Food Runner is responsible for ensuring consistency of culinary product for all guests before they leave the kitchen. The Food Runner will be the sole communication between the servers and the culinary staff ensuring timeliness of food and preparation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Perform all operational functions as a Food Runner Assist in delivery of food and various items to the guests Assist in set up and breakdown of expeditor station Maintain shelving on line including heating lamps to keep area a perfect line of sight Maintain par levels of plate ware and other supplies for front line Sweep and mop expeditor floor and walk-off area keeping area free from debris Review each dish before leaving the kitchen to ensure accuracy and consistency Communicates with servers and kitchen staff to ensure food is delivered in a timely manner Checks in with guests upon initial delivery and follows up with any additional requests Maintain side-work including but not limited to folding napkins, polishing glassware and silverware, etc.

Working knowledge of food and beverage menu and specifications Responsible for handling guest allergy and dietary needs Ensures that all menu items served meet the established specifications and standards Drive food and beverage sales through exceptional and consistent service and genuine hospitality Assist with the organization of the service stations, maintain deliveries and cleanliness of areas Promote teamwork and interact with employees in a fair and professional manner Maintenance and cleanliness of all service and dining areas Maintain knowledge and practice the company’s mission and vision, policies and procedures, and employee handbook Communicate all service related, issues, concerns and innovations with Service Manager Create and maintain a positive, safe and healthy work environment Be a role model and lead by example in terms of professionalism, positive attitude, taking initiative, work ethic, work performance, etc.

Knowledge of the menu; food and beverages Responsible for building dining clientele Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Anticipate guest’s needs and offer assistance before the guest’s request for it Maintain a positive, pleasant, attitude in the workplace Provide exception guest service through clear communication, highest level of service and professionalism Other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
