Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Country Security Manager to join our Security team in a South Sudan Field Office . This role is based in an isolated area where you will oversee the safety and security of our staff and operations.

Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Country Security Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ Cultivate strategic partnerships with local leaders, government officials, and security professionals to safeguard all Samaritan's Purse personnel in high-risk environments Constantly assess risks by analyzing both open-source and sensitive intelligence to keep security threats at the national and local levels accurately documented Report key political, economic, and social developments regularly to leadership to support timely decision-making focused on safety and mission continuity Lead, train, and equip a team of local security officers as a vital part of the security structure in developing or conflict-affected regions Be prepared to lead during emergencies and activate Samaritan's Purse's disaster responses Other duties as assigned What are the qualifications?

Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of one year of management experience, preferably in a disaster location Spiritual maturity; ability to lead direct reports in their growing relationship with Jesus Christ Diplomacy and negotiating skills; coordinate with other agencies, build and maintain positive working relationships Understanding of complex security situations and ability to advise program design accordingly Ability to analyze information, develop a complete picture of security situations, and communicate effectively to leadership, both verbally and in written form Flexibility and adaptability; critical thinking skills Ability to communicate and interact well with people of different educational, linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds Previous international military experience (preferred) or relevant experience in an international field assignment, managing security concerns 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, an opportunity to meet and complete the requirement is available upon hire.
