Dietary Aide (Food Service Worker) - Per Diem

Description As Dietary Aide (food service worker), you will help to prepare and serve food in a family-owned, friendly nursing home setting. You will report to the Director of Dining Services. This is a PER DIEM position. $17.50/hour plus weekend differential if applicable DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO): Help prepare food and meals Wash/clean dishes and washroom duties Deliver food to facility residents Assist with special catering events at facility Assist in kitchen as needed Assist in resident dining room as needed ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Work independently and as a team player Communicate well Deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff May be required to stand for long periods of time May have to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays as needed by department Must be reliable EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred but will train the right candidate!
