Dietary Aide (Kitchen Worker) - Full Time

Description As dietary aide, you will help to prepare and serve food in a family-owned, friendly nursing home setting. You will report to the Director of Dining Services. This is a FULL TIME position and includes every other weekend and some holidays. $17.50/hour plus weekend differential when applicable Includes every other weekend and every other holiday RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Help prepare food and meals Wash/clean dishes and washroom duties Deliver food to facility residents Assist with special catering events at facility Assist in kitchen as needed QUALIFICATIONS: Work independently and as a team player Communicate well Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen Deal tactfully with residents, family members, and staff May be required to stand for long periods of time May have to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies without restrictions Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays as needed by department Must be reliable - our facility does not close for inclement weather; we are open 365 days a year EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred but will train the right candidate!
