Terminal Manager

Join the MVT family!!! Mesilla Valley Transportation is now hiring a Terminal Manager in the Dallas area (Hutchins, TX)! The Terminal Manager is responsible for effectively directing and managing a specified terminal location and the delegated local representatives.

Responsibilities

Supervise all terminal personnel and issues. Complies with instructions and acts as directed by upper management. Identifies and resolves issues/tasks in a timely manner. Recognized by team, peers, and management as a key supporter. Plan, implement, and oversee the work of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational requirements and company procedures.

Consults with appropriate management to determine appropriate actions for problematic issues. Conduct ongoing audits, meet with individual staff members, direct other work activities designed to promote work safety, and encourage continuing education among staff members. Ensure staff members fully and consistently comply with company rules, administrative procedures, and policies.

Collaborate with staff members and fellow managers to create, modify, and implement goals, procedures, policies, and objectives when the opportunity presents itself. Arranges equipment to be available when needed. Coordinate special projects assigned.

Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Experience in management, operation, and leadership. Experienced at successfully leading complex, cross-team projects. Excellent written and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills.
