Housekeeping (11pm-7:30am)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Technician to join our hospital team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe healthcare environment through cleaning, disinfecting, and supporting daily operations throughout the facility.

What you will do

Clean and disinfect patient rooms and assigned areas following infection prevention standards Follow PPE guidelines and healthcare safety protocols Perform floor care, window and wall cleaning, waste removal, linen transport, and other housekeeping duties Maintain organized supply areas and support department needs Participate in team huddles, training, and continuous improvement efforts Provide excellent service while demonstrating compassion and respect for patients, families, and coworkers What we are looking for: A strong work ethic and commitment to providing exceptional service Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness Candidates who demonstrate stability and longevity in previous roles are highly valued, as we are looking for team members who are committed to building a long-term career with Deaconess Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required If you are someone who takes pride in your work and wants to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, we invite you to apply and become part of the Deaconess team.
