We're looking for a Sales Manager

• Hospitality to join our hospitality team at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you'll build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and connect clients with innovative event production solutions that bring their vision to life. If you're passionate about event production, skilled at building client relationships, and energized by growing business in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. This position is based on the job description outlined in What You'll Do As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and partnering with production teams to deliver exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships that foster repeat business.
• Collaborate with event production teams to create customized solutions that meet client objectives.
• Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
• Manage multiple client opportunities and projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Support on-site event activities and maintain a visible client-facing presence when needed.
• Communicate professionally and proactively with clients, partners, and team members.
• Adapt quickly to changing client needs and event requirements.
• Maintain urgency and accountability in meeting deadlines and sales objectives.
• Uphold Mills James quality standards, policies, and service expectations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Three or more years of event production sales experience.
• Experience in new business development and account management.
• Proven ability to collaborate with production and operations teams to develop value-driven client solutions.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
• Ability to support onsite event production activities as needed.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform well under pressure.
• Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience
• Hospitality, convention center, hotel, corporate meeting, or live event industry experience.
• Experience selling audiovisual, production, staging, or event technology solutions.
