Billing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Billing Specialist based in Minnesota, United States. The Billing Specialist will play an important role in ensuring accurate medical billing, efficient claims management, and timely reimbursement across healthcare services.

This position focuses primarily on Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA) billing, including claims submission, accounts receivable monitoring, denial resolution, and appeals management. You will work closely with Revenue Cycle leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve payment barriers while maintaining compliance with payer requirements.

The role also involves coordinating with Minnesota DHS, managed care organizations, and commercial insurers to ensure claims are processed efficiently. As part of a collaborative, remote team, you will contribute to improving billing processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting uninterrupted access to healthcare services.
