HVAC/R Service Technician

Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician Pay: $30 – $42/hour ($60,000 – $88,000 annually) + potential market-based bonus Schedule: Typical hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with rotational on-call. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment (walk-in/reach-in coolers & freezers, ice machines, parallel rack systems, etc.) Inspect equipment and components to ensure safe operation Communicate with customers and branch staff regarding status of repairs Complete service tickets accurately and on time Manage truck stock and ensure parts are maintained on your vehicle Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards Model professionalism and provide guidance to less experienced technicians Follow all company safety policies and procedures What We’re Looking For Experience: Multiple years of hands-on experience with commercial HVAC/R, appliance repair, or relevant military service Certifications: EPA Universal (or EPA I & II) required; CFESA certification preferred Strong and stable work history (no frequent job changes) Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Own standard hand tools for the trade Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and in tight spaces Willingness to travel within the region and participate in on-call rotation (nights, weekends, holidays as needed) Dependable, self-motivated, with strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer skills for service ticketing and reporting Pre-Employment Checks Background check Drug test (controlled substances only) Driving record/MVR check Benefits On-demand training and full troubleshooting support Company-sponsored and manufacturer training programs Company-provided uniforms, phone, vehicle, and gas card Medical, vision, and dental insurance Short-term disability coverage Company-paid long-term disability and life insurance Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match and immediate vesting
