Respiratory Therapist-Vent Unit

**Key Responsibilities**

Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

**Qualifications**

Valid Respiratory Therapist certification and licensure as required by the state of Georgia. Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
