• Food Service, Responsible for all things related to member experiences including on and off site private events. Will be a direct link between members and the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Nurture the relationship with the restaurant and its members Assist the Membership Director and the Director of Member Services Maintain constant communication with the Club Lounge to ensure efficient member seating and dining flow Oversee the service of the membership from Door to Door Communicate with host team to coordinate the day to day needs of membership Work closely with the Membership Director and the Director of Member Service to maintain a member database with personal preferences for each Maintain constant communication with the Club Lounge to ensure efficient member seating and dining flow Act as the Lead Concierge when necessary Understand all catering menus including substitutions, new menu items and allergy/food restrictions Understand all dining rooms including substitutions, new menu items and allergy/food restrictions Answer questions regarding menus and availability of dates for potential guests Understand the service style of the restaurant Utilize salesmanship techniques by up selling food, liquor, service, etc.

Respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu Complete server and host training Proficiency in servicing catering calls Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu through frequent tastings and attending periodic shift meetings Attend Membership and host meetings, communicate all pertinent information to appropriate personnel Be a role model and lead by example in terms of professionalism, positive spirit, can-do attitude, outstanding grooming standards, work ethic Constantly strive to increase revenue through suggestive selling and reservation management Never compromise on quality and deliver of our promise; the goal of being the benchmark restaurant in the market should never be compromised.

Be obsessed with customer satisfaction and work with the tools given and the team working at 1000North to create the best restaurant experience possible. Order and maintain catering supplies, decorations and equipment Maintain and develop guest client base Help to maintain and develop a list of preferred vendors for flowers, music, AV equipment, etc.

Knowledgeable in the capacities of each dining room Accurately record events in the monthly calendar Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to operating procedure Use tact and good judgment when dealing with difficult guests, be a restaurant ambassador and respond to needs with patience and courtesy Maintain a positive, pleasant attitude every shift Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment Perform more than one task at a time Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Essential Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2-4 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Available to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and increased work schedules.

Ability to walk and stand during entire shift. Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and cut. Ability to remain stationary for long periods of time. Ability to tolerate high heat. Ability to climb ladders. Frequent washing of hands Ability to lift 50 lbs.
