Systems Engineer

Role : Systems Engineer (NAVWAR) Target level : 3 or 4 Positions available : 1 Location : SAIC Office in El Segundo Clearance required : Secret, able to obtain TS/SCI Major duties of this position include: Develop and modernize cryptographic software using innovative solutions Support GPS enterprise integrated system testing Support GPS enterprise requirements, capabilities, architectures, concepts, designs, and technologies development Software implementation of Y-code and M-code cryptographic algorithms Validation of National Security Agency (NSA) operational key material Provide guidance and technical support for Crypto Management and NAVWAR Collaborate with the government team, other program government leads, external organizations, and prime contractors Actively participate as a Subject Matter Expert in the GPS requirements process Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Science 5+ years of overall experience Active Secret clearance Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating software Demonstrated understanding of System Engineering practices, techniques, and procedures Demonstrated experience working with or for the government Demonstrated experience writing and delivering technical documents Desired Active TS/SCI Clearance GPS experience Experience with C++20, C#, Python, SQL, and gRPC Experience with environments utilizing Podman, cmake, and CI/CD pipelines Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations Experience working on a Systems Engineering and Integration contract Experience and familiarity working with Space Systems Command Experience and familiarity working with cryptography and cryptographic systems
