Finance Associate (German - speaking)

Due to business expansion, with our client in the hospitality industry, we are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible person for the position of Finance Associate, with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and strong knowledge of German language.

Responsibilities

Working in the field of accounting and finance Operating within the Abacus accounting system with strong proficiency Maintaining accounting records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitoring and controlling expenses and budgets Posting incoming and outgoing invoices; calculating VAT and other tax liabilities Reconciling open items with customers and vendor Participating in the preparation of supporting financial documentation Requirements: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in similar roles Educational background in accounting, finance, or banking Experience working for international companies in German and English language Experience with the Abacus accounting software and strong knowledge of its functionalities Previous experience working in Swiss-based companies is a plus High level of organization, responsibility, and proactiveness Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in digital tools (Google Workspace, task management tools, CRM systems, etc.)
