Mover (Seasonal/Part-Time)

Position Title: Mover (Seasonal) Position Status: Part-time Pay: Rate of Pay: Starting at $16/hour Referral program Matching 401(K) Job Description: Assist in wide variety of activities including loading and pushing dollies, wrapping furniture, loading and unloading trucks, disconnecting and reconnecting computers, assembling furniture, packing contents from offices and labs, wiping down desks, inventorying product, vacuuming, cleaning chairs and furniture, installing building protection and other miscellaneous activities related to commercial relocation and workspace service needs.

Job Requirements: You MUST be 16 years old or older to apply You MUST have reliable transportation to get to work on time You MUST be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time You MUST be able to individually lift up to 75 pounds safely Though not needed as often, you MUST be able to carry loads up and down stairs Key traits needed: Ability and willingness to follow detailed instructions Ability to communicate clearly Commitment to learning and being teachable Be able to work well with others Have a good attitude Drug Testing: Will be performed ‘at cause’ Will be performed as required by Customers Background Screening: Will be performed 'at cause' FLEX Team Program Details: The availability of work varies, which poses challenges for staffing.

Work. Space often needs additional ‘on demand’ support – hence the concept of FLEX. Many of our jobs are very time sensitive with critical deadlines. These deadlines are driven by legal lease obligations for our customers along with ongoing pressures for them to minimize their employee downtime. You will be contacted by our Coordinator by text, phone call, or email when team members are needed for a particular job.

We do not guarantee hours for Flex. Customer Cancellations: Customers will sometimes cancel with little notice. Cancellations are primarily due to construction issues for their new building – especially if they did not obtain their Certificate of Occupancy (related to inspections). Work. Space will be as diligent as possible to notify you of any changes.
