Food Service Associate

POSITION TITLE: FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE LOCATION: Hawthorne Middle School POSTING DATE: July 13, 2026 CLOSING DATE: For best consideration, please apply by July 20, 2026. However, position will be open until filled. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Approximately 29.5 hours per week DAYS: Nine month employment SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be $13.

30 per hour START DATE: Beginning of 2026-27 school year.

JOB SUMMARY

Prepare, distribute, and serve food for breakfast and lunches. Duties will include preparing cafeteria for meal services. Work requires some physical exertion and heavy lifting (50 pounds - for example - cases of canned foods, trays of canned food and trays of dishes.) JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
