We're looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Technician III to join our Facilities team in a temporary full-time position. In this hands-on role, you'll help maintain our buildings, equipment, and essential systems to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents and employees. From troubleshooting repairs to maintaining our grounds, your work will play an important role in keeping our community running smoothly. What You'll Do

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds throughout Immanuel Living. Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other essential facility systems. Prioritize and complete maintenance work orders efficiently, safely, and in a timely manner. Inspect and maintain emergency equipment and systems, including generators, fire protection systems, ventilation, and resident care equipment.

Conduct routine inspections and compliance checks to support safety standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain safe walkways and grounds, including snow and ice removal during winter weather. Monitor facilities for potential maintenance concerns, including pest activity, and assist with corrective actions. Maintain an organized maintenance shop and support safe, efficient department operations.

Follow facility emergency procedures, Life Safety Code requirements, and applicable State and Federal regulations.

What We're Looking For

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge required. At least three years of maintenance experience preferred. Boiler and HVAC certifications preferred. Current driver's license in good standing with the Montana Department of Transportation. Working knowledge of building maintenance, mechanical systems, and equipment repairs.

Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to changing maintenance needs. Strong communication skills and commitment to maintaining a safe, positive environment for residents and employees. Standing and Walking: Continuously required throughout the shift while performing building and grounds maintenance.

Lifting: Continuously lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift 11–20 pounds, and occasionally lift 21–40 pounds or more than 40 pounds. Carrying: Frequently carry up to 15 pounds and occasionally carry 15–40 pounds. Pushing and Pulling: Occasionally push or pull up to 20 pounds, occasionally push 20–40 pounds, and rarely push or pull more than 40 pounds.

Additional Physical Activities: Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work under time or deadline pressures.
