Major Food Group hiring experienced Captains to join our team at Dirty French ! Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side, Dirty French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. The restaurant takes its culinary cues from the timeless dishes of the classic French tradition and enlivens them by utilizing modern techniques and bold, thrilling flavors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience. Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety. Receive and greet members guests; assist with seating if necessary. Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction, resolve guest issues.

Maintain knowledge of menu and presentation standards and sound knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 2 years experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants.
