About the role

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company equipment such as conveyers, shredders and other plant maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, inspect and repair all parts of equipment, mechanical, and electrical systems on equipment such as shredders, conveyers, some heavy equipment. Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of component parts and systems on building plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and pump rebuilding and repair on facility as needed.

Welding and fabricating to repair and build and secondary equipment. Replacing lighting receptacles/bulbs, fans, some minor plumbing upon occasion. Complete equipment maintenance records. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7 am to 5 pm (can be flexible with start time). Average 8-10 hours a day. Some OT including Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 years' of verifiable maintenance experience or minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in plant industrial maintenance including heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, excavators Valid Drivers License, CDL a plus Ability to demonstrate how your actions support Reworld Values and Behaviors, including Safe and Inclusive Workplace, Delivering Results through Trust and Building Breakthrough Capabilities.

Must be able to read precision instruments, such as micrometers, dial indicators, digital multi-meters, and other electronic diagnostic tools. Previous experience with maintenance on industrial equipment and industrial maintenance such as shredders, conveyors, forklifts, etc Physical Demands: Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions Frequently required to stand, sit, climb, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach Climbing ladders and structures; must be able to tolerate heights.

The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
