The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and budgetary requirements while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute the end-to-end procurement process, including obtaining quotations, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery. Identify reliable suppliers and maintain an updated supplier database. Work closely with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely supply of materials.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Review and analyze purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores team to avoid shortages or overstocking. Assist in preparing cost comparisons and procurement reports for management review.
Support in vendor audits and contract management as required. Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit and reference. Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or service industry. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office and procurement software. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of local and international suppliers and market trends.
