Require a Compliance – Regulatory Affairs Officer in Harare

Monitor and interpret evolving financial regulations and compliance standards to ensure organizational alignment. Develop, implement, and update internal policies and procedures to maintain adherence to legal requirements. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance gaps or regulatory breaches.

Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on regulatory matters and facilitate training programs. Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to relevant authorities within mandated timelines. Investigate any incidents of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience within the financial services sector, specifically in compliance or regulatory affairs. Proven track record of managing regulatory relationships and ensuring adherence to complex financial laws. Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in Zimbabwe and relevant international financial standards.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal texts and apply them to business operations. High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
