YMCA Warwick is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Pool Lifeguards to join our team! Join the Y and help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable aquatic environment for everyone About the Role As a Pool Lifeguard, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe aquatic environment for our members and visitors.

From supervising pool activities and identifying potential hazards to providing first aid and delivering excellent customer service, you’ll help ensure everyone can enjoy the water safely.

What You'll Do

Supervise pool users and enforce aquatic safety rules and guidelines. Identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to minimise risks. Administer first aid and CPR when required. Monitor, report and document incidents, hazards and safety concerns. Complete routine pool testing and maintenance in line with legislative and health requirements.

Assist patrons with enquiries and create a welcoming, positive experience. Complete required administration, incident reporting and follow-up. Am I a Good Match? We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, approachable and enjoys being part of a team. To be successful, you'll have: A current Pool Lifeguard Award.

Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A current First Aid and CPR qualification, or willingness to obtain. A current National Police Check issued within the last six months, or willingness to obtain one. A current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain one.
