Sensory Room Teaching Assistant – Bexley Location: Bexley Contract: Temporary Pay: £100–£130 per day PAYE The opportunity A specialist SEN school environment in Bexley needs a Teaching Assistant who can support purposeful sensory sessions and help pupils regulate, engage and return to learning successfully.

What you will do

Prepare sensory spaces and resources in line with agreed plans. Support individual and small-group activities led by teaching or therapy staff. Observe pupils’ responses and record useful information consistently. Help pupils move calmly between sensory work and classroom routines. Maintain equipment, boundaries and safeguarding standards.

What you will bring

Experience supporting children or young people with sensory or additional needs. A calm, attentive approach and willingness to learn individual regulation strategies.
