Location: Gareenup – South Perth WA Hourly rate starting: $28.64 to $36.42 + casual loading (plus Super plus NFP Salary Packaging) Job: 505376 Hey you! genU is looking for Support Workers who can team up with our customers to help them unleash their full potential. You will be making a real impact by helping people with disabilities through accommodation and community engagement such as swimming. Good availability is required Monday to Friday + some weekend work. What you’ll do Support person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals and working to achieve them; Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering and toileting and medication administration; Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed; and Administration duties and mandatory reporting What you’ll bring Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships; Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes; An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities; Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity; A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate).

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
