Job description
The Department of Pediatrics within the School of Medicine at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. We are conducting an open search for Project Scientists, Research Scientists, and Specialists at the Assistant, Associate, or Full level in various disciplines of basic and clinical science.
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Designing, managing, and conducting experiments
- Leading projects and/or making significant contributions to research objectives
- Training, teaching, and mentoring students or colleagues in laboratory techniques
- Participating in and presenting at scientific meetings
- Preparing scientific reports, manuscripts, and grant proposals for submission and/or publication A link to full descriptions of each series is provided for your review: Specialist (APM-330) Project Scientist (APM-311) Research Scientist (APM-310) Appointment level/rank will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
