SUMMARY Colliers Mortgage is seeking a driven, customer focused, and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Analyst to support our internal Escrow Department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to break into both the commercial real estate and/or commercial insurance industry. This individual will build strong cross functional internal relationships, correspond with complex commercial mortgage clients, work with external insurance agents/brokers, as well as our Loan Origination and Servicing teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct periodic reviews of commercial loan documents and insurance coverage to ensure compliance with lender servicing requirements Request revisions to insurance policies from insurance agents/brokers with diligent follow up to ensure loan compliance Communicate and make recommendations to lenders to resolve issues of non-compliance Review various monthly reports to effectively manage the loan portfolio Certify to lenders compliance with lender requirements as required Educate borrowers on loan specific insurance requirements Other duties assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1+ year of office experience, or an associates or higher degree required Commercial Property and Casualty insurance and/or servicing experience/training preferred Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, financial documents, or governmental regulations Strong attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies in the available data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Problem solving and decision-making skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities Driven, innovative team-player who is focused on results and strives to deliver a superior work product JOB EXPECTATIONS This is a full-time position in office three days a week.

Days of work are Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular and reliable attendance required.

Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Area/Location Specific: Minneapolis, MN Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $65,000 - $75,000 annually Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
