Special Education Paraprofessional - Moderate/Severe

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Site Principal, assist with students and work daily within Moderate/ Severe Special Education settings and/or with students in the SEAS program or Pre-School educational settings. This is a 10-month, 6.5 hour/day, benefitted position.

• Two (2) CURRENT letters of recommendation Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Upon hiring, the following will be required at the District's expense:
• Negative TB Test
• Successful DOJ fingerprint/screening
• Physical Test
• Negative Drug Screen Qualified candidates should hold an AA degree/60 units of college work OR satifactorily pass the District provided Paraprofessional Exam. Comments and Other Information This is a 6.5 hour/day, 5 day/week position, on the 10-month employee calendar. BUSD currently has one (1) position within the District: - one (1) at Bonsall Elementary School Employee health and welfare benefits are available at no cost.
