Structural Design Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Techno is looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our corporate team. In this role, you will be managing and executing a variety of civil engineering projects while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with strong technical knowledge and project management skills. • Collaborate on structural engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
• Perform design tasks, prepare bid documents including drawings and specifications, and organize all drawings, reports, calculations, and associated project deliverables, with supervision from project managers and senior staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate project success.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects align with design and safety guidelines.
• Oversee project documentation, including permits, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain strong client relationships by addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 6-15 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Mathcad, etc).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, local regulations, and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $120,000-$170,000/yr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
