Opportunities and Shifts Available: Registered Nurse
- ER: Full-Time | PRN | Days | Nights Registered Nurse – Med-Surg: Full-Time | PRN | Days | Nights Registered Nurse – Charge Nurse: Full-Time | Days Registered Nurse – Surgery: Full-Time | Days Registered Nurse – ICU: PRN | Days Registered Nurse – Circulator: Full-Time | Days What You’ll Do Key Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and respond to changing patient conditions Provide direct and indirect patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, and overall patient needs specific to the unit setting Deliver high-quality care with professionalism, initiative, and accountability under the supervision of the associated physician Safely administer medications following the five rights of medication administration Initiate, monitor, and discontinue IV therapy as needed Accurately interpret EKGs, lab results, and other diagnostic information to support patient care Perform general nursing duties across departments within the scope of the RN license Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team while providing education and guidance to support patient understanding and care Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and nursing leadership to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and quality standards ICU specific responsibilities Monitor critically ill patients and manage life-support equipment Surgery specific responsibilities & requirements Assess, monitor, and document patient condition before and during surgery, and monitor patient recovery following surgery Prepare patients, equipment, and the operating room for surgical procedures Serve as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or post-anesthesia care nurse as assigned Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment Knowledge of sterile technique, infection prevention, and perioperative nursing practices for the Surgery role Circulator Specific Responsibilities Coordinate and maintain a safe, sterile environment throughout surgical procedures Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during, and after procedures Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards Properly handle and label surgical specimens Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness Mentor and support new staff and nursing students Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standard Charge Specific Responsibilities Lead and support ED nursing staff during assigned shifts Coordinate patient flow, bed placement, and staffing assignments Assist with high-acuity patients and emergency situations Ensure compliance with safety, clinical, and documentation standards Serve as a trusted resource for clinical decision-making and problem-solving What We Are Looking For Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program Current Tennessee RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Unit-specific experience: 1+ year of hospital nursing experience preferred for ER and Med-Surg roles Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred; ED experience required for the Charge Nurse role Previous perioperative/OR experience preferred for the Surgery role Previous critical care or acute care experience preferred for the ICU role Previous Nursing and OR experience preferred for the Circulator role Strong communication , clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Proficiency in interpreting EKGs, laboratory results, and related diagnostics Why Join the Team?
